Why can't I play your movies?

First make sure you have minutes left on your account with which to view movies. You can check this by going to your account management page here. If you need to add minutes, you can click here to do so.

You also need to have the latest version of Adobe's free Flash Player installed in order to stream our movies. Before trying anything else, please download and install the latest Adobe Flash Player here. Get Adobe Flash Player



Why does it say I am "out of minutes" when I clearly have minutes left to use?

If you have previously successfully watched movies on our site and then suddenly get the "out of minutes" message every time you try to view movies, even though you have already purchased minutes, it is likely that you do not have the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player installed. Before trying anything else, please download and install the latest Adobe Flash Player here.

It is also possible that the Flash player did not disconnect properly after you last finished watching a movie. This is an issue inherent in some versions of Flash and the best way to fix it is to close all of your open browsers, re-open one, navigate back to our site and try watching your movie again. If that still does not work, try rebooting, navigate back to our site and try watching again.



I'm using Firefox and have no video or sound.

Sometimes the Flash plugin for Firefox can become corrupted (this happens, for example, if you installed more than one version of the Flash plugin) and the easiest way to fix it is to uninstall all Firefox Flash plugins with this Adobe Flash Uninstaller here and then re-install the latest Adobe Flash Player plugin here. Get Adobe Flash Player



Why is the video choppy and/or has a low frame rate?

This can be due to one of two things:

1) You do not have the latest version of Adobe's Flash Player, or there is a problem with your Adobe Flash Player installation.  This happens quite often and the easiest way to fix it is to uninstall Flash with this Adobe Flash Uninstaller here and then re-install the latest Adobe Flash Player here. Get Adobe Flash Player

2) Your computer does not have adequate resources to play our movies.  Even though the Flash Player is a great little player for many reasons, due to Flash's inability to make use of most hardware acceleration, Flash is not always a very efficient way to play movies and a movie that would play fast using someone else's player will generally require more resources to play on Flash.  Because of this, you need a fast processor (2 Ghz +) and at least 500MB RAM in order to play our movies smoothly.



Why is the video constantly buffering?

Chances are that your network connection to our server is not fast enough or that the network between your computer and our server is experiencing temporary congestion.  Make sure your connection can support at least a 500 kb/sec stream.  Our movies are encoded at a high bit rate and are consequently very high quality, but they also therefore require a very fast connection to view them.  You can test your connection's download speed for free here.



Why do I hear sound but see no video?

This happens if your Flash Player is having trouble buffering the video.  Try pausing and un-pausing to see if that fixes it (it often does).
