By the time many of you read this, we will have elected a new President. By now, you all know where I stand,
so I’ll simply say that I hope you all took the time and voted for the
candidate you think will best serve our country for the next four years.
Now, on to porn stuff. For
those of you who may have missed it, October was a big month for the folks at
Extreme Associates. They kicked off what they called E Days by re-launching
their web site, www.extremeassocaties.com
Then they really threw everyone a curveball by hiring Gene Ross away from AVN.
Gene has always had a thing for wrestling and will now get his chance at
influencing the XPW. With Gene on board, Extreme unveiled a very cool new box
cover design. The foil looks is very eye catching and original. (And how long
before a half dozen companies are doing the same thing?) Then to really kick
things off, Extreme released the first Thomas Zupko feature, “In the Days of
Whore.” I’ve done a full review of it, so check that out. Briefly, I have to
take my hats of to Zupko for this one. What can you say about a movie that has
lepers raping milkmaids, Vikings hunting down wenches, Guys fucking until their
dicks fall off (Literally) and a woman baptized in semen and urine? In all
seriousness, this movie is one of the most original, though provlking porn
films in a long time. Yeah, I know, can you stroke to it? If you don’t mind
your sex brutal, your religious icons desecrated and a little blood mixed in

With
Gene Ross leaving AVN, there is a huge vacancy near the top of the food chain
at the industry’s top magazine. There have been a lot of names tossed about to
replace ross, but as of today, no successor has been named. Some of the more
interesting names I’ve heard include Luke Ford, Mike South and Tod Hunter. So
far, no one has even called me to discuss the position. Should I be hurt?
Vivid
Interactive is working on some new projects. Dyanna Lauren recently finished
shooting their first interactive blowjob DVD which should be on the shelves
soon. On the new release shelf this month are new DVDs from Paul Thomas as well
as the latest ‘Where the Boys Aren’t” movie. The former, ‘Jeckyl & Hyde’
stars Taylor Hayes and a host of European hotties in the dark, gothic
horror/mystery. In the new WTBA DVD (Number 12 for those of you counting.)
Janine, Kobe Tai, Alex Taylor and Julian Ann star as escaped convicts who
terrorize horny co-eds Raylene, Jenteal and Devon. Taylor Hayes and Sky also take part in this all star veggie fest.
Sky has returned to the
Shane’s World team. Before she was a Vivid Girl, Sky hit her stride as the lead
in the Shane’s World and Slumber Party lines. The latest Shane’s World video
had Shane leading two teams on a sexy scavenger hunt. Handjobs from hot blondes
anyone? She’s also back in the all-girl genre with Slumber Party 14. As an
added treat, Sky is joined by Haven. It’s been a while since this hot little
number has been in a new video. Even surrounded by some seasoned girl on girl
starlets, cute little Haven manages to shine.
Alex Ladd has been directing
movies for Sin City in Europe for the past few weeks. His latest title,
‘Whoriental Sex Academy’ is just hitting the shelves. If you have a thing for
Asian girls in cute uniforms, you’re going to love this one. Alex will be
shooting a couple of new movies this month, including a cheerleader flick
penned by you know who that should be quite a hit with the short skirt crowd.
It’s time again for AVN to
release their nominations for the 2001 AVN Awards. As always, there should be
some big surprises when those come out. I wonder who the big winners will be? I
wonder if Serenity and Michael Zen will get the recognition they deserve for
Guilty Pleasures? What about Anabolic and Diabolic? Will they be nominated
based on the quality of the body of their work, or the amount of money they
didn’t spend on advertising?
In case any of you missed the
long lines at toy, department, game and electronic stores, Sony has released
the long awaied Playstation II game system. Since the system plays DVDs, the
adult industry is licking its chops. For years, adult game makers have been
kept off the major game platforms. Now that simple DVD technology will play on
the new Playsation system, the adult companies will be falling over themselves
to get some top notch X rated games into the market. It’s bound to be an
exciting year for adult themed games.
Tera Patrick has been taking
the net by storm these days with her interactive talk show. Twice a month, fans
can tune into www.terashow.com
and watch the beautiful starlet have all kinds of fun. Jill Kelly, Sean
Michaels and Danni Ashe all made appearances this month with more big names to
come. Of course, she didn’t take me up on my offer to help her real-test the
breasts of her guests.
Since November is
Thanksgiving month, let’s all take a moment to remember the things we’re
thankful for. That goes double for Pete Sampras. It’s not enough that the dude
is the best freaking tennis player on the planet with more money than he could
ever spend. Now he marries a complete piece of ass like Bridgette Wilson. So,
here’s hoping that all of you can find things that make you as damn happy to be
alive as Pete.
